This Program is for entrepreneurs who have the ability and skills to establish a business in Canada that

• is innovative
• can create jobs for Canadians
• can compete on a global scale

You need to contact a business group which has been approved by the government of Canada  to invest in or support possible start-ups. If the designated organization decides to support your business idea, it will send you a letter of support, which you will need in order to be eligible to apply for permanent residence.

You will also need to have CLB 5 in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking in either English or French.

Up to 5 people can apply as the owners of one start-up and the whole process takes between 1 and 2 years.
