ETA

Almost every person who is exempt from visa requirements such as the citizens of most European countries are supposed to apply for an ETA before flying to Canada. Please note that an ETA is not needed if the person is travelling by car, bus, train or boat. The fee for an ETA is CAD 7 and you need to apply online for it.  Oftentimes an ETA is issued within minutes.
