Extension
In the top right corner of your study permit, you could see its expiry date, which is usually the length of your study program plus 90 days. These extra 90 days provide you with sufficient time to prepare to leave Canada or to extend your stay in Canada.
If you intend to extend your study permit, you must do so before it expires. It is recommended that you apply as soon as possible, but not later than 30 days before the expiry date of your permit.
