Quebec Graduate
In order to be eligible for this stream, you must:
- Be at least 18
- Hold an eligible Québec diploma
- stayed in Québec for at least half the duration of your study
- For diplomas of technical college studies, Bachelor’s, Master’s or doctoral degree:
- Have obtained full-time work experience of at least 12 months after the end of the study program in a job at level 0, A or B
- Hold a full-time job at level 0, A, B or when you submitted your application (work experience and the job do not have to be related to your study program)
- For DEP which, on its own or with an ASP obtained consecutively, attesting to 1,800 hours or more of continuing education and leading to a particular trade:
- Have obtained at least 18 months of full-time work experience after the end of the study program in a job at level 0, A, B or C
- Hold a full-time job at level 0, A, B or C at the time of submission of the application
- If your work experience was acquired in a job at level 0, A or B, it does not have to related to your study program
- If your work experience was acquired in a level-C job, it must be related to the DEP you obtained in Québec.
- Obtain an attestation of learning about democratic values and the Québec values (Also true for your spouse if they are over 16 and your dependent children if over 18)
- Advanced intermediate French in oral French [7 (B2) in Listening and Speaking ]
Effective July 22 2021, spouses will have to demonstrate French “advanced beginner.” (Level 4)
You are Not Eligible if you have started a new study program in Québec or more than 36 months have passed since you completed your study in Québec.
