New Brunswick Express Entry
The New Brunswick Express Entry stream is currently accepting Expressions of Interest from individuals who meet all of the following submission criteria:
- The applicant has submitted a federal Express Entry Profile and has a valid Federal Express Entry
Profile Number and Job Seeker Validation Code.
- The applicant is currently living in New Brunswick and is either:
- Working for a New Brunswick employer at a 0, A or B position
- Enrolled in a New Brunswick post-secondary institution. The applicant must have at minimum one year of previous work experience in a position that matches NOC 0, A, or B.
If all eligibility requirements have been met, you will be assessed according to the following six selection factors:
- Age: You must be between 22-55 years of age.
- Language (English and/or French language skills): at least CLB 7
- Education: at a minimum, a high school diploma
- Work experience: at least one year of continuous paid work within the last 10 years at skill type 0, A or B. It can be in Canada or abroad.
- Employment in New Brunswick (if applicable): Under certain situations, your job in New Brunswick or job offer may earn you points toward your NB Express Entry application score.
- Adaptability: You and your spouse or common-law partner can earn points for adaptability. These elements assess how well you and your spouse are likely to settle in New Brunswick.
These selection factors are categorized using a points system. You must score a minimum of 67 of 100 points to be successful.
NOTE: New Brunswick will also, on occasion, invite candidates directly from the federal Express Entry pool in response to provincial labour-market needs.
