COPR Holders Can Travel to Canada

مهاجرت به کانادا

All those who have a valid Confirmation of Permanent Residence can now enter Canada. According to the federal government, about 23,000 COPR holders from other countries will now be able to complete their immigration to Canada.

According to Canadian government data, since March 2020, when the Canadian government introduced coronavirus travel restrictions, a total of 23,000 COPR holders have been unable to travel to Canada.

Only individuals with a valid COPR issued on or before March 18, 2020 were exempted from Canada’s COVID-19 travel limitations until today. Those who received their COPR after March 18, 2020, could only visit Canada if they qualified for one of the country’s other travel exclusions.

COPRs are only valid for a year. The applicant’s passport and medical examinations can affect them. Many people have been unable to come to Canada because of the coronavirus outbreak or because they do not qualify for one of Canada’s travel exemptions. Their COPR has now expired as a result of this.

They will not have to go through the immigration procedure again, but they will require a fresh valid COPR from IRCC in order to come to Canada. Quarantine will not be required for people who have been completely vaccinated.
