By early July, Canada intends to remove the quarantine on exempt travelers.

Travelers who have already been exempt from travel restrictions will not have to quarantine for the entire 14 days if they have received a two doses of COVID-19 vaccines within 14 days of arrival, according to Health Minister Patty Hajdu.

The health minister did not provide a specific date for when these changes will take effect, but noted it will be in “early July” if case counts continue to fall.

Only vaccinations authorized by Health Canada will be accepted. Astra Zeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, and Moderna are the four vaccines that Canada has accepted so far.
