Atlantic Immigration Pilot
This pathway to permanent residence is for those who wish to work and live in one of Canada’s 4 Atlantic Provinces:
- New Brunswick
- Newfoundland and Labrador
- Nova Scotia
- Prince Edward Island
There are 3 programs in the pilot that employers can hire you through. In order to be eligible, you must meet the requirements of one of the pilot’s programs:
Atlantic International Graduate Program
- A job offer from a qualified employer in an Atlantic province for a job which is for at least 1 year and is NOC 0, NOC A, NOC B, or NOC C
- A degree, diploma or other credential from a publicly funded institution in an Atlantic province following the completion of a program of at least two years
- Have lived in an Atlantic province for at least 16 months in the 2 years before getting your degree, diploma or credential
- CLB 4 in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking in either English or French
Atlantic High-skilled Program
- A job offer from a qualified employer in an Atlantic province for a job which is for at least 1 year and is NOC 0, NOC A, or NOC B
- 1 year of full-time work experience in a NOC 0 / NOC A / NOC B job within the last 3 years
- High-school Diploma
- CLB 4 in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking in either English or French
Atlantic Intermediate-skilled Program
- A job offer from a qualified employer in an Atlantic province for a permanent job which is for at least 1 year and is NOC 0, NOC A, NOC B, or NOC C
- 1 year of full-time work experience in a NOC C job or as a nurse within the last 3 years
- High-school Diploma
- CLB 4 in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking in either English or French
