This Pilot aims to create a path to permanent residence for skilled foreign workers who want to work and live in one of the small communities which are participating in the pilot. Each community has its own eligibility requirements, which you must meet to be recommended to IRCC for final consideration. In addition, you must satisfy the following IRCC’s requirements:

• 1 year of continuous work experience in any job (at least 1,560 hours) in the past 3 years or having graduated from a publicly funded post-secondary institution in the recommending community
• A job offer to work in one of the participating communities
• Language ability (either English or French) in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking:
  • CLB 6 for NOC 0 and NOC A job offers
  • CLB 5 for NOC B job offers
  • CLB 4 for NOC C and NOC D job offers
• High-school Diploma
